Casa Magda Soft Opening

 

Thank you so much for your interest in Casa Magda’s Airbnb soft opening. This is an opportunity for you, as my close friend or mutual friend, to experience Casa Magda at a great rate.

This home is incredibly special to me since it’s my first house, and I, with some incredible friends, have spent the last 1.5 years designing, building, and renovating every square foot of this home on our own. While the soft opening is only for close friends at the moment—my only ask in return is that you agree to rate the Airbnb 5 stars and write a raving public review on the Airbnb page. If you have any feedback, suggestions, or etc., please do not write that in your public review. You can either write it in the private review via Airbnb or email me personally at hi.casamagda@gmail.com. I would also do this in return for you as my guest. This would help me increase my visibility and get the word out about Casa Magda in the Catskills. Tell all your friends about your experience, and feel free to share it on social media while you’re there.

How it works—

  • Soft Opening Dates: June 23, 2021 — Aug 13, 2021

    • Only these dates are available for friends as of now. More dates will be available at the full rate at a later time.

  • Price Per Night (discounted for close friends only): Weekday $329 / Weekend $369 + Airbnb service fees + Taxes

  • Guests: Maximum amount of people is 12

    • No additional people may visit or stay

    • Additional $50/per guest after 6 people (please put in exact # of people when you book the Airbnb)

  • Cleaning Fee: $285 one-time fee

  • Security Deposit: $800 

    • This is only taken out if anything is found damaged

  • Airbnb’s Cancellation Policy will apply

  • No last minute bookings/cancellations. I need a few days in advance notice for booking and more than a week's notice for cancellation. Please read Airbnb’s strict cancellation policy.

  • Please review Casa Magda’s liability and policy agreement before booking.

Other things to note—

  • No Pets.

  • Not suitable for children or infants.

  • Limited WiFi: Due to the remoteness of the home, the house does not have hi-speed internet, only limited data satellite. The satellite is only intended for our smart devices, like the Sono’s Amp and smart thermostats. You can plan to work here, but will need to coordinate going to cafes in town (5 min drive) to work there instead. I highly recommend downloading music, movies, etc. before your arrival. 

  • Limited cellular service depending on your provider

  • No events or parties.

  • All house rules and policy apply. If you’ve never stayed at an Airbnb before or it’s been a while, please read all the house policies carefully to inform yourself on what to expect.

Booking—

To book your stay, please fill out the request form below — submit your dates, designate how many nights you want to stay, and the total number of guests staying. Please review details and amenities on the Airbnb listing or browse around on the site.

If your desired dates are available, I will send you a confirmation email and you have up to 12 hours to book on Airbnb. It’s best if you book immediately as it is first come first serve.
